The Tripoli Players has been in existence
in Tripoli for almost three years now. In that time the Players have put on three major pantomimes, Aladdin, Ali Baba and Robin Hood, playing to audiences of over 1000, as well as several smaller events such as workshops and readings. We completed our first "serious play", Mixed Doubles, in June 2009.
Involvement in all our productions is open to all nationalities and we actively encourage intercultural exchange. Our pantomimes involve over 100 actors and crew of several different nationalities. About half of our pantomime audiences is Libyan.
