Currently there is only one theatrical group in Tripoli. The Tripoli Players have been in existence since 2007.  In that time the Players have put on three major pantomimes, Aladdin, Ali Baba and Robin Hood, playing to audiences of over 1000, as well as several smaller events such as workshops and readings.  We completed our first "serious play", Mixed Doubles, in June 2009.

Involvement in our productions is open to all nationalities and we actively encourage intercultural exchange.  Our pantomimes have each involved over 100 actors and crew of several different nationalities with about half of the audiences being Libyan.
